Potato Meatballs with Bulgur Recipe

Today we are gathered to make the lentil-free version of our favorite lentil meatballs :) Lentil patties what was it? It was love, the only flavor that carried us to the frequency of our mothers. The strange thing is that it is possible to make a delicious and bulgur-based meatball without lentils.
While wetting your bulgur, let the water pass a little, if the bulgur gets too saturated with water, its consistency may be runny. So when you open the lid, it will look like rice.

Ingredients for Bulgur Potato Meatballs Recipe
• 2 large potatoes (650 gr)
• 1,5 cups of fine bulgur (250 gr)
• 2 glasses of boiling water (average)
• 4 tablespoons of olive oil
• 2 teaspoons of salt
• 3 tablespoons of tomato & pepper mixed paste
• 6 stalks of spring onions
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 3 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh mint
• Cumin
• Red pepper
• Salt
• Black pepper
For service:
- Lettuce leaves
- Lemon slices
Fabrication:
- Wash the potatoes, put them in a saucepan, add water and boil them until they are soft.
- Put the bulgur in a container with a lid (or you can cover it with a cling wrap), add enough boiling water to cover it a little bit, cover it and let it swell for 25-30 minutes.
- Finely chop the onions, crush the garlic.
- Peel the boiled potatoes and put them in a tray and mash them with a fork. Add bulgur, olive oil, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, cumin and optionally red pepper flakes and knead a little.
- Add mint and spring onions and continue kneading. When all the ingredients are mixed and the same color, let the mixture rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Oil your hands, cut off pieces of the size you want, shape them into cylinders or just roll them.
- Serve with lettuce and lemon.
