Ingredients for Vegetable Bulgur Pilaf (With Side Dish) Recipe
- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 onion
- 1 clove of garlic (optional)
- 1 carrot
- 1 potato
- 1 meal spoon tomato paste
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 spoonful butter
- 2 cup of hot water
- salt, pepper, cumin
Fabrication:
- Chop the onion and garlic finely. Chop the carrots and potatoes into pea-sized pieces.
- Heat the oil, add the onion and fry.
- When the onions become transparent, add the carrots and fry.
- Add the tomato paste and continue frying.
- Add bulgur and fry for 1-2 turns. Add potatoes, salt, spices and peas and mix.
- Add the boiling water over the bulgur.
- Cook on low heat until the rice absorbs its water.
- Turn off the stove, let the rice steep for about 10 minutes and serve.
