Bulgur Rice with Pepper and Barley Noodles
I had an incredibly enjoyable time in Ayvalık for the last 2 days. The night we stayed on Cunda Island and the boat tour we took was perfect.
We stayed for 1 night on Cunda Island, we made new friends and had pleasant conversations. I learned a lot about Ayvalık cuisine. I will share them with you as soon as possible. I will even prepare a nice article and give a lot of details.
One of the most delicious holiday recipes, Bulgur Pilaf with Barley Vermicelli is just as good in color as Aunt Melek's spices are thrown while brewing the rice for the last time.
I'm back to backing up and editing photos. to share soon,
Love…
Ingredients for Barley Noodles Peppered Bulgur Pilaf Recipe

- half cup of barley vermicelli
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoons of oil
- 2 hot or sweet chili peppers
- 1 medium tomatoes
- 3 cup of hot water
- salt
- nane
- Red pepper
Fabrication:
- Chop the onion and peppers for cooking, fry them in oil in a pan until they turn pink.
- Add the tomatoes to the fried onions and cook until the tomatoes soften.
- Add the washed and drained bulgur and half a glass of barley vermicelli to the pot.
- Add salt and 3 glasses of water and cook it first on high heat, when the water boils, on low heat until the water is gone.
- While the rice is brewing, add mint and red pepper flakes and mix. Close the lid of the pot and let it brew for 10 minutes. Serve hot.
I don't understand why they put onions in piav. It does nothing but boil the stomach.
I add the onion first, then the tomatoes, the green pepper, and fry them. Then I add boiling water and when it boils a little, I add bulgur. I add mint, red pepper flakes, (2 spoons from the jar I prepared from a mixture of coriander, turmeric, ginger, cumin) and boil it over high heat. I'm waiting for him to mix it for the last time and turn it down and rest. it's going great. I fry the vermicelli in oil, add bulgur and fry it, then add a mixture of diluted peppers and tomatoes and fry it again. After adding boiling water, I add the bulgur. I add the spices.
There was no tomato, I put tomato paste, I put butter instead of liquid. Now I left it to brew, it was unbelievably good.
Thank you for the recipe.
I applied it exactly, like your other recipes, this turned out great :)
my dear mother used to mix bulgur and rice and serve it with mint.
Ms. Nilay, if you try the same recipe with basil instead of mint, you get a nice flavor.
