Hello Dear Friends,

Bosnian pastry is one of my favorite recipes. Nobody can easily say no to the leek or potato mortar in the crispy dough :)

Bosnian ravioli, on the other hand, takes this wonderful taste to the next level :)

hand made ravioli

Our basic ingredients while preparing it are flour, water and salt. This duo is always called as much flour or water as it takes, but an average glass size allows you to be much more prepared and easier to hold.

However, keep extra flour with you, considering that the brand of flour used and your cup size may cause differences.

You can prepare this recipe as in my Bosnian pastry recipe and then slice it.

  2. Add 2 more cups of flour and, if necessary, the remaining water little by little and knead a medium-hard dough.
  3. Gather the dough and rest it covered for 30 minutes.
  4. While the dough is resting, grate the onion, mix it with ground beef, salt and pepper in a bowl and knead.
  5. Divide the dough you prepared into 10 pieces and roll each piece in your hand.
  6. Open each meringues the size of a dinner plate and put the melted butter on top of each other with a tablespoon.
  7. When you open 5 meringues, make the second set of 5 by following the same procedures and enlarge them to tray sizes with the help of a roller.
  8. Slice the dough squarely and divide half of the minced meat in the middle of the squares you cut.
  9. Cover the doughs one by one as in the photo and place them on the greased baking tray.
  10. Do the same for the other set of 5 and fill the tray.
  11. Spread the remaining butter on the dough and bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 35 minutes.
  12. Serve hot with yoghurt and oil with red pepper flakes, if desired.
