Ingredients for Purslane Salad with Black-Eyed Peas Recipe
- Half a bunch of purslane
- 1 tea glass of dried black-eyed peas
- 1 onion
- 1 Canakkale tomato
For the sauce:
- Olive oil
- Pomegranate Syrup
- salt
For service:
- Strained yoghurt
- Garlic
- Salt
How to Make Black-Eyed Purslane Salad Recipe?
1. Wash the purslane 1-2 times in water, separate the leaves from the stems and let them drain in a strainer.
2. Chop the onion into half-moon shapes and the tomato into small pieces.
3. Boil the black-eyed peas until they become soft and drain.
4. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce. Add onion, purslane and tomato and mix. Add the black-eyed peas and mix.
5. Mix garlic, salt and strained yoghurt and spread on a serving plate.
6. Serve by adding the purslane salad you prepared on top.
