Meringue Cake
Hello Dear Friends,
I wanted to greet the month of Ramadan by preparing a different recipe from previous years. My opening recipe would usually be gullac, but this year, I prepared a delicious and practical cake that would not look like a rosemary :)
The best part of this cake is that the sauce is with rose pudding. It is so practical and delicious that your guests will be surprised when you prepare it.
Since the meringues are based on egg whites and sugar, you can balance this sweetness by using very sweet and sour fruits.

For the meringue base:
- 4 egg whites (medium)
- 200 gr Pakmaya Powdered Sugar
For the cream:
- 1 pack Pakmaya Whipped Cream + half a glass of milk
- 1 pack Pakmaya Rose Pudding +1 glass of milk
For inside:
- Strawberry, black mulberry or desired fruit
How to Make Meringue Cake Recipe?
- Cook the pudding with milk and set aside to cool. Beat the whipped cream with cold milk, add 3-4 tablespoons of pudding and continue whisking. Once it thickens, let it rest in the refrigerator.
- For the meringues, carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks and put them in a deep whisk.
- Add granulated sugar to the foaming whites, beat at low and then at medium speed until it reaches a consistency that will not flow when you turn the bowl upside down.
- Line the baking tray with greaseproof paper and divide the meringue mixture into 3 equal parts and place it on the tray. Flatten it out with a spatula.
- Bake for 120 hour and 1 minutes without opening the door in the oven you have preheated to 15 degrees.
- Let the meringue, which you leave to cool with the oven door ajar, rest in the oven for 1 hour to dry.
- Take the first meringue on the serving plate, take some of the whipped cream you prepared on top and spread it with the help of a spatula.
- Sprinkle with sliced strawberries, black mulberries and optional blueberries.
- Put the second meringue on top of the fruits and do the same. Place the last meringue on the cake and pour the pudding you have set aside.
- Serve garnished with fresh fruits, optionally with fresh roses.
Hello Nilay, can it be anything other than rose pudding or is it a homemade pudding? thanks… love…
Hello Derya, it should have a thick consistency. I cooked with less milk than usual. You can also make it without pudding, you can use ready-made sauce instead. Yours sincerely
