Meringue – Foam

Holidays are one of the precious times when those who can meet gather under the same roof, we look for our friends who are far away but whose hearts beat with us, we feel the absence of all our loved ones we have lost and we remember them with good memories.

A different suggestion for those who want to serve their own delicacies to their loved ones during the holiday (Why not serve meringue instead of sugar, right). I made my meringues the french way, not by boiling the sugar, but without cooking them. But I will share 2 recipes with you.

I sincerely congratulate all my friends and readers on Eid-al-Adha and wish them a pleasant and peaceful holiday with their loved ones.
Love…

Preparation of Mereng

Ingredients for Meringue – Foam Recipe

  • 4 egg white
  • 300 gr. granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to Make Meringue – Foam Recipe?

  1. Egg yolks and whites are separated from each other at room temperature.
  2. Egg whites are taken into a large glass bowl and whipped with granulated sugar and salt until they reach a consistency that will not fall off the spoon, that is, at least 25 minutes, with a mixer at high speed (the reason for the long time is that the granulated sugar is difficult to melt with this method).
  3. If you say that the shape of the meringues is not that important, use a spoon, if you want their shape to be smooth, put them in a cream bag and put 1 cm each on a tray with greaseproof paper. You can share periodically.
  4. Bake in a preheated 110 degree oven for 1 hour.
  5. Do not take the meringues out of the oven immediately, open the oven door first, take them out when the meringues are warm, and transfer them to the serving plate when the meringues have cooled completely.

I also adore meringue. Let me tell you a practical way, I whisk it over the boiling teapot to speed up the work, it comes to a faster consistency, I recommend it. Love…

It's a simple but time consuming dish. I did it a few times and it cost me a bit. Both the beater of my blender and the beater of the mixer were broken :D But the value is the sweet of my childhood. It was a great pleasure to still be able to make my own child number 10. Thank you.

Hello, I am Betül. After I read this recipe, I liked it and I made it, it was very nice. My guests asked if you bought it from the patisserie, but I said I made it myself with a smile and I will buy the recipe from you from now on. Happy New Year

I used to buy it from the bakery when I was in high school. I liked it very much the first time I ate it, but then I think I ate too much and even when I see it, I feel nauseous.
