Ingredients for Chicken Pie with Béchamel Sauce

  • 6 pieces of dough
  • half chicken
  • 1,5 liters of water

For the bechamel sauce:

  • 2 spoonful butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 water glass milk
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Between the dough:

  • Olive oil
  • Un

  • Egg yolk
  • Sesame

How to Make Chicken Pie with Béchamel Sauce?

  1. Cook the chicken with carrots and onions in a pressure cooker for 25 minutes. boil it.
  2. Shred the boiled chicken.
  3. For the bechamel sauce, fry the butter and flour.
  4. Add the milk and chicken broth little by little and continue mixing.
  5. When the béchamel sauce thickens, add salt and pepper and continue mixing.
  6. Pour the sauce over the shredded chicken and mix.
  7. Lay the first phyllo on the counter, sprinkle the top with oil and flour and spread the second phyllo as well.
  8. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and wrap the first layer by putting the chicken dough on the widest part.
  9. Wrap the second layer as in the video. Apply the same operations to all phyllo dough, and you will have 12 phyllo dough.
  10. Soak the pastries in water and gently squeeze out the excess water. 
  11. Brush egg yolk on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  12. Bake in the oven preheated to 190 degrees until golden brown and serve.
