Ingredients for Crispy Breakfast Bread Slices Recipe from Stale Bread

  • 1 stale bread 
  • 150-200 g of feta cheese
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 large pinch of parsley 
  • Tomatoes and olives upon request

How to Make Crispy Breakfast Bread Slices from Stale Bread?

  1. Put the cheese in a deep mixing bowl and mash it with a fork. Add the egg and butter and continue to mash.
  2. Add the chopped parsley and mix well.
  3. Arrange the breads side by side on a baking tray. Spread the cheese mixture on top. Add tomatoes and olives if desired.
  4. Bake in a preheated 200 degree oven until golden brown, serve hot or warm.
