Banana Cake – Banana Bread
Hello Dear Friends,
I wanted to make an energetic start on the first work & school day of the week :) Actually, I had in mind to share recipes of different pastas and pasta sauces this week, but I plan to do it next week :)
If you remember, I said this week is cookie week in the previous episodes. I shared 3 different cookies during the week. These cocoa flour cookies, coffee bean cookies ve it was macaroonI. Occasionally, I would like to cover different topics under the name of sandwich week, and let me tell my master, bread week. So I intend to do something cheerful, depending on the weather or my mood :)
Now let's come to our cake… There is no yogurt or milk in this cake, but it has an incredibly nice aroma and consistency thanks to the banana in it. Whole wheat flour we use while making the cake can sprinkle a little bit of water into spring dieters like me :)
Whole wheat flour is one of Selva's new products… Yes, Selva, whose pasta and semolina we know and love to consume, has launched brand new products on the market. There are plenty of varieties such as whole wheat flour, wholemeal flour, starches, wheat bran, oat bran. I haven't had the opportunity to try cake flours yet, but I was very pleased with the wholemeal flour I used in this cake.
Have a joyful and loving week for all of us!
By the way, very soon I will have special surprises for Mother's Day with Hotpoint.
Love…
Note: I adapted the recipe from the book “Desserts” brought by a friend recently.

Note: Last week, I sat down and wrote in detail.Tips for making cakesI think you will be interested in my article titled ”
I know it's delicious, I know I've made it before, but this recipe is a little different and I'll try it.
Hello,
We also tried the recipe and were very pleased with the result. We used 100 grams of oil and 100 grams of sugar. We used 3 bananas. The rest is the same. The result was beautiful.
Thanks
There is no such taste!! As of now, my cake came out of the oven :) I took it out of the mold and tasted it right away, it was delicious. I'm sure it would have been better if I had added brown sugar. Also; I also put chocolate chips according to my taste, and it gave a different taste. Only use whole wheat flour strictly and strictly as in the recipe. As my lady Nilay said, whole wheat flour makes it have a sandy texture.
Ms. Nilay, thank you very much for your hard work and these beautiful recipes :)
In the meantime, I wish everyone a Happy Ramadan.
With love..
I ate the banana cake for the first time at Costa Coffee in England and the taste remained in my mouth. In the intervening time, it was not possible to do it at home either. I looked today, my last 2 bananas were blackened, I thought of banana cake. Of course, the recipe was searched, found and tried in the first address, Kitchen Secrets. It is now baking in the oven. Let's see if it tastes like the banana cake I ate. I'll write how it tastes after cooking.
Nilay lady, I am glad to have you, none of your recipes I have ever made have misled me. Thanks for your effort :)
I follow your recipes with liking, the only flaw is the lack of portion information, for example, how many people does this cake serve? I will be happy if you give me information.
Hello, it says how many people in the recipes. You can look under the recipe heading. Yours sincerely
I tried your cake recipe and it was really nice. But I have not tasted the real flavor yet, since I use brown sugar that has been r3nkled with molasses.
Also, is there any brand of brown sugar you know made from real sugar cane, other than nature?
Hello, Ms. Nilay, your cake looks very good… I'm sure it tastes like it too… I mean the recipe, can you give me the amount of sugar and flour as a glass measure….
hello, hello to your hands, I have a question, if I use normal instead of brown sugar, will there be a change in the taste?
Brown sugar will give it a more caramelized flavor. Normal flour will affect that gritty texture. I think it would be better if you follow the recipe for the first try. Yours sincerely
Can you express gram in glass or spoon?
Unfortunately, I did not use a cup measure. But you can use these measurements as an approximation. http://mutfaksirlari.com/pratik-bilgiler/tarifler-icin-olculer
