I have 5 new recipes with labneh for you. The first of these recipes is Pumpkin Labneh Pie. While preparing labneh recipes, I take care to use materials that you have at home or that you can easily buy.

pie

Of course, this includes materials that you can't decide what to do at home. For example, my beloved pumpkins that I bought for Christmas but couldn't decide what to do finally turned into pies.
It is a dessert that even those who do not like pumpkin can enjoy it. When ginger, clove and cinnamon are involved, a magical flavor emerges.

Everyone knows that pie dough is usually pre-baked. But this time I did not pre-bake the dough. This is because I do not add labneh and 1 egg to the pumpkin puree to give it consistency.
Since the puree mixed with egg and labneh is placed on the raw dough and baked in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes, the dough does not remain raw at all.
The result is a smooth and easily sliced pie. Love…

Ingredients for Pumpkin Labneh Pie Recipe

  • 500 g pumpkin
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Half a glass of water
  • Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 3 dried cloves
  • Ginger powder with the tip of a teaspoon
  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • half pack Labneh

For the dough:

  • 1 pieces of eggs
  • 200 g margarine
  • 2,5 water glass flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar or powdered sugar

How to Make Pumpkin Labneh Pie Recipe?

  1. Cut the pumpkins you bought from the market as peeled, cut them into small pieces with the help of a knife and put them in the pot.
  2. Add sugar, spices and water to the zucchini and cook on medium heat until the zucchini softens.
  3. Remove the cooked zucchini from the stove, pass it through the blender and let it cool.
  4. While the pumpkin puree is cooling, start preparing the pie crust. Take eggs, flour, sugar and the margarine you cut into cubes in a deep bowl.
  5. Mix with the kneading apparatus of the mixer until the dough comes together. When the dough comes together, knead it with your hands and form it into a ball. (If you did not do the first kneading in the mixer, chill the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour)
  6. Grease the inside of a small springform tin (24 cm). Spread 3/2 of the dough you prepared into the mold. Make a long roll from the dough you have separated and press it against the wall of the springform mold with your hand to form 3 cm high sides.
  7. When the dough coating process is finished, poke holes in the bottom of the dough with a fork.
  8. Add labneh cheese and 1 egg to the cooled pumpkin puree and beat with a wire whisk.
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 45 minutes. After it has completely cooled, remove it from the mold and serve by slicing.

It just cooked, but the cream took a long time to cook, that is, to solidify, and it was not the same color as yours. I want to ask this: I cooked the zucchini as it is, with its water and spices, and passed it through the rondo, did I make a mistake?

Hello, it took a long time because you added it with the water. The color may be different either from the color of the zucchini or because it is cooked longer than it should be. Yours sincerely

Maybe very little cardamom can be put. Otherwise, you can't add it. Yours sincerely

I want to try the recipe, but I'm very undecided about the oil. Isn't 200 g fat too much for the dough stuff? I'm worried that the oil taste will be pronounced. Also, my ginger powder is missing from the ingredients. You may be surprised, but I have never used this spice before. I'm not sure if I like the aroma. Is it a material that we should definitely use?
