Ingredients for Pumpkin Sinkonta Recipe

  • 500 g pumpkin
  • 1 large onion
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • juice of half a lemon
  • half a glass of water
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • Red pepper
  • 1 tablespoons of flour

For service:

  • garlic yogurt

How to Make Pumpkin Sinkonta Recipe?

  • Chop the pumpkins into equal sizes. Chop the onions in piyaz. Crush the garlic.
  • Spread the onions in the baking dish, spread the zucchini on top.
  • Whisk the olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and water in a bowl and pour over the zucchini.
  • Cover the baking dish and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
  • Open the baking dish and sprinkle flour on the zucchini. Reduce the oven to 160 degrees and sprinkle flour on top.
  • Bake until the zucchini is browned. Serve with garlic yogurt on top of the zucchini you bought from the oven.
