Broad Beans and Artichoke Cream Pasta
Hello Dear Friends,
I wanted to start the week with my new favorite, bean and artichoke pasta recipe :) Generally, women at home are fond of artichokes and broad beans, but spouses and children squint. I prepared before sautéed artichokes You can easily feed it to your children by making some creamy pasta make-up to the recipe. After all, everyone in the house loves cream and pasta :)
If you combine a practical pasta cooked in a delicious chicken broth with the addition of cream and with a higher flavor, it means a feast for me. If you want to serve it in a different way, not in the form of chicken placed next to the classic pasta, you can also serve it on top after slicing. We tried it and we liked the result :)
Have a joyful and enjoyable week to all of us!
Love…
Ingredients for Broad Beans and Artichoke Cream Pasta Recipe
- 1 pack of cream (200 ml)
- hot water (just enough to cover the pasta)
- half a pack of pasta
For the Artichoke Broad Bean Sautee:
- 4 peeled and cleaned artichokes
- 100 fresh broad beans
- 1 medium carrot
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 spoonful butter
- half a glass of water
- salt & pepper
How to Make Creamy Pasta with Broad Beans and Artichokes?
- Finely chop the artichokes lengthwise. Peel the carrots, cut them in half and finely chop them lengthwise. If you bought the pods, sort and wash the broad beans.
- Take the olive oil in the pan, add the artichokes and saute. Add the butter by adding the broad beans and carrots to the artichokes that are starting to turn yellow.
- Saute for 2 minutes on medium heat, stirring. Add water and turn down the stove.
- Add salt and pepper and cook until the water evaporates.
- While the sauté is draining, put the pasta in a medium bowl, add enough hot water to just barely cover the pasta, and leave it to soften for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add the pasta, which absorbs some of its water and starts to swell, on top of the sauteed vegetables and cook until the water is absorbed.
- Finally, add the cream, salt and pepper to taste, serve hot.
