Broad Bean Fava

I ate fava for the first time in Ayvalık Cunda Island, in a restaurant made from a fisherman's shelter. It had a fascinating taste. Years later, I was very happy to get that flavor in my own fava. I definitely recommend you to try it.
Ingredients for Broad Bean Fava Recipe
- 4 cups dried broad beans
- ¾ cup olive oil (less than 1 cup)
- 2 onions
- 2 carrots (1 if large)
- 1 teaspoons of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 limon
- half a bunch of dill
- 8-10 olives
How to Make Broad Bean Fava Recipe?
- The broad beans are sorted and washed.
- Coarsely chopped onions, carrots and washed and drained broad beans, sugar, salt are put in the pot.
- Add 8 glasses of water and cook the broad beans until they become soft.
- The broad beans, which have softened well, are passed through a blender, taken into a soaked boron and rested in the refrigerator until the service time.
- When serving, the fava is sliced and taken on a serving plate.
- Garnished with dill and olives. Served with olive oil and lemon drizzle.
What are the garlics for? unwritten forgotten
Just crush the garlic and add it to the fava and mix. Thanks for your attention…
I call it salted sardines next to it...:)It will be more delicious if you boil the broad beans for 15 minutes and pour the first sparkling water out.. Bon appetit.
