I haven't been able to spare much time for my books waiting to be read lately. Today I will try to make up for my negligence with a cup of coffee, empowered by the rain. Also, I started my daily runs again, so I feel much more energetic :)

I think I've lost my mind with dessert :) trying different things and preparing new combinations makes spending time in the kitchen even more enjoyable.

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of wheat starch

  • 4 water glass milk
  • 3 tablespoons of wheat starch
  • 1 vanilla stick
  • 4/3 cup granulated sugar

How to Make Quince Jelly Vanilla Pudding Recipe?

  1. Cut the vanilla pod in half with a knife. Scrape out the seeds inside with your knife.
  2. Take the vanilla pod along with the egg yolks, milk, sugar and seeds in the saucepan.
  3. Cook over low heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. When the sugar melts, add 3 tablespoons of starch and continue cooking until it thickens.
  4. Take the pudding that has reached the desired density from the stove. Take out the vanilla stick inside, divide it into bowls and leave to cool.

  6. Take the quince juice, starch and granulated sugar in a sauce pan and cook on medium heat by mixing until it thickens.
  7. Add it on top of the puddings you have divided into cups and leave to cool. Serve when well frozen.

    Hello, I made the quince jelly vanilla pudding according to the recipe, but the color of the quince jelly was not bright orange as seen in the picture. it was a slightly yellowish taupe cloudy color. the taste is okay but it didn't look appetizing at all. May I know why this is so? Should I cook the jelly longer? When I put in the starch, it had already hardened too much. I boiled it for 10 more minutes because it would turn color, but it still didn't look like this picture :(

      Hello Özlem, sometimes even the type of quince is effective. The starch is cloudy at first, but then the jelly becomes clear. You can boil the quince with its seeds or add some yellow or orange food coloring to avoid the same thing the next time you try it. Love…
