European Side Top 10 Breakfast Places Recommendations

Hello Dear Friends,

I finally found the opportunity to start writing about breakfast places that I have been thinking about writing for a long time, but never had the opportunity to find. In these times when the weather is gradually getting better, we want to throw ourselves into the streets, forests, sea shores and picnic areas. Since we are already working very hard during the week, we deserve to have a sprinkling breakfast in the open air by saying "I have a weekend".

We deserve it, but when the weekend comes and we set off in the morning, we are met with a new problematic. “Where to go?”

Although we generally like to go to the places we like again and again and become regulars, new places create new regulars :) Going to a random place is a risk. I took the risk for you :)

I usually have breakfast from people I follow on social media, from friend suggestions, from invitations or in places I discover while visiting. If I like the places I go on my social media accounts, I share them. I was not lazy for you, I went under all my accounts, got out of the top and created a list :)

Note: As I said above, I said that I would add to this article as I discover new places. Over time this floating list will be more than 10 places. I will rank the new places according to the taste of the breakfast, the effort given, the presentation and the service.

1. Bebek Butcher & Steak House (Patiska Bozcaada Breakfast)

I knew about Pastiska Bozcaada breakfast from Bozcaada Vineyard House. I wanted very much to go to Bozcaada to taste its delicious mixed breakfasts, homemade jams and eat Alisiro bread, but we could not find the opportunity. If we were available they were busy, if they were busy we were not available. But then they brought Patiska Bozcaada breakfast to Bebek Steak House on weekends to share with the taste lovers in Istanbul to guide the demands and they made it very nice. I recommend you to taste these delicacies while they are at your feet.

2. Marmalade Pera – Nişantaşı 

Their breakfast journey, which started 1,5 years ago in Galata, continues at their second baby, Marmelat Pera, in Nişantaşı Artists Park. The breakfast table prepared by Doctor Hasan Karatoyuk with natural and additive-free products brought from small businesses all over Anatolia is truly the best Anatolian breakfast I have ever eaten!

I think it's a place you should definitely visit with its own dried meat, ham and pure sausage ❤️ What I can write here is a tiny part of what's on the menu.

3. Grand Cello Cafe Antige – Ortakoy

Grand Cello Ortaköy is a place full of surprises. The interior is completely decorated with antique products and is actually an antique shop. When breakfast was started to be served, it became an inedible atmosphere. Breakfast is served as a spread, and they have really gone beyond the usual understanding of breakfast. Thanks to the owner's interest in the kitchen, he adds flavors that he has tried and thought to be liked, to his breakfast menu. It is a place that you can consider going again and be influenced by. I would also like to point out that they work with reservations. Since you haven't been to this place for a long time, it's a good idea to call before you go.

4. Cruise Istanbul, Cafe Golden Horn

I don't know where I heard about this place, but it's one of the places I'm glad I went. The view of Leb-i Derya Karaköy and the historical texture of the building provide you with the pleasure of having breakfast in a different atmosphere. The owners run the place as husband and wife and live on the top floor of the same building. When we first went, we were faced with a note hanging on the door because they were doing the restoration, and we had to return sadly. We were successful in our next attempt and we were able to have our breakfast :) It is useful to call before you go, especially when they are the preferred places on the weekends.

5. Unter – Karakoy

Breads!!! When I say Unter, the first thing that comes to my mind is their beautiful bread. Sourdough breads served at breakfast made me happy as a sourdough lover. Also, extra happiness for frying them :) It's a place I go to occasionally because of its delicious products and relevant staff. Apart from breakfast, it is a place where you can go for dinner with peace of mind, as I have the opportunity to taste the main dishes, especially hamburgers.

6. Cesme Bazlama Breakfast – Nisantasi

Similar to the story of Patiska Vineyard House, Çeşme Alaçatı is one of the flavor stops that set out with the idea of ​​bringing its flavors to us and opening a place in Nişantaşı. It would be good if you make a reservation, but if you don't, it is possible to find a place depending on the size of the place after waiting in a small queue. Right at the entrance of the door, an aunt rolls dough on the floor and makes flatbread. You can spend time watching it while waiting for your turn :)

7. Wom – Karakoy

On a day when we weren't deciding where to have breakfast, we went inside to try this place, which was beautifully designed as a decor, while wandering around the streets of Karaköy. Sometimes, although the environment is nice, the breakfast, taste or service may not be very heartwarming, but this place did not disappoint our dreams and its warm and friendly atmosphere and delicious breakfast were in harmony. It's a quieter place as it's not a huge venue. It is a nice option to have a quiet conversation while having breakfast.

8. Samatya Van Breakfast Hall

This place is one of the places we went to by trying our luck. Taste hunting is like that. Beauty cannot be achieved without taking risks :) The place is a bit crowded, although the crowd is perceived as negative, it is the inevitable end of places that serve delicious products and satisfy their customers. It's not a very authentic and decorated environment, but the taste in breakfast makes up for this and you can ignore everything :) It's a place I can recommend for those who love local flavors.

9. Pomegranate Shop – Karaköy

This is the 3rd place I recommend in Karaköy. What can you say, always karaköy karaköy alternative is good. If you don't have one, the other will happen :) When the places are usually full, you can go to the other place when you can't find a place. After all, they are all tried and approved :) When you enter, you will want to take pictures first and then sit down for breakfast. The breakfast is not bad, although there is not a lot of variety like the others, it is of the kind that is small and concise. You can try the cheese and herb omelette.

10. Oba Restaurant

Who doesn't want to have breakfast with a view to the throat? With its large and spacious place, it is a place where you can have a good breakfast in the open air, especially in summer. On weekends, open buffet breakfast and its varieties, a family Sunday breakfast and then a baby tour is not bad :) The road is a bit far, yes, but is it worth it!

11. My Home My Home My Beautiful Home :)

“Is there such a place?” I can hear you say :) and of course this is your home, your warm home. In fact, I had listed 9 places while preparing this article. Afterwards, I thought this would be a bonus, and of course, the breakfast you prepare in your own home is one of the most beautiful places :)

Even though I travel a lot to discover new places and new tastes due to my job, I am also one of those who like to have breakfast at home.

It is another pleasure to get up early on a Sunday morning to get their breakfast from the delicatessen, stop by the bakery on the way back and take the freshly baked bread, to go home and to drink the tea that has been boiling in the teapot for hours during the long breakfast.
