Ingredients for Ashura Recipe
- 1/2 kg of wheat,
- 1/2 dried beans,
- 1/2 chickpea,
- some rice,
- some red lentils,
- pods,
- sugar
How to Make Ashura Recipe?
- We rise the wheat, beans and chickpeas overnight.
- Then we boil it separately in a pressure cooker.
- We mix the boiled grains in a large saucepan.
- We add rice, lentils (any other legumes you want to add).
- Add water to it and cook it slowly, stirring constantly.
- We add the sugar that is close to cooking. We cook it well with sugar.
- Add roasted sesame seeds, cracked hazelnuts, cracked walnuts, pomegranate seeds and cinnamon.
