The only soup of my childhood was barley noodle, my mother used to make me drink this soup whenever I got sick because I was not good with chicken :)

That's why every time I smell the smell of this soup, I always think of the old days :)

Ingredients for Barley Noodle Soup Recipe

  • 1,5 tea glasses of barley vermicelli (Those who like watery soup can reduce by half a tea glass)
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 1 pieces of green pepper
  • 4-5 cups of hot water or broth
  • 1 tablespoon of margarine or butter
  • 1 meat bouillon upon request (if you are going to use bouillon, do not add salt)

How to Make Barley Noodle Soup Recipe?

  1. Remove the seeds from the pepper and finely chop it. Peel the skins off the tomatoes and chop finely.
  2. Take the oil and peppers in the pan and fry them quickly. Add the peeled and chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
  3. Add the salt of the soup, add the water, stir until it boils.
  4. Add the barley vermicelli as soon as it boils and cook for 10 minutes. boil more.
  5. Take the soups on a serving plate and serve by adding lemon, black pepper and parsley if desired.

    No tomatoes, no peppers, no margarine :) I'll try to make it with just vermicelli and tomato paste. That school is gone. I think there should be very simple and few ingredients suitable for students. Even stone soup will do ;)
