Apple Compote

Ramadan means lots of compote and compote. I think this is one of the most beautiful tastes left to us from the old days :)
When I boil the apples, I add 2-3 pieces of peeled skin to give it extra flavor. The aroma of apple combined with cinnamon and cloves adds a nice atmosphere to the whole house :)
You can increase or decrease the sugar according to your taste. Those who want whiter apples and slightly sour compote can add lemon juice.

Ingredients for Apple Compote Recipe
- 4 apples
- 6 water glass of water
- 1,5 teaspoons of granulated sugar (you can increase according to your taste)
- 3-4 cloves of cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- juice of half a lemon (optional)
Fabrication:
- Wash, peel and core the apples, then cut them into cubes.
- Take the apples, lemon juice, 2-3 apple peels, water, cloves and cinnamon into the pot. Cook until the apples are soft.
- When the apples are soft, add the granulated sugar, mix carefully and cook until the sugar dissolves.
- Let the compotes rest in the pot until they come to room temperature.
- Put it in the refrigerator and serve cold.
