Hello Dear Friends,

The easiest cookie recipe prepared with the materials at home is the mother cookie for me :) If you remember, they used to knead it right away with the children and give it to us with tea with milk or cold water. :) Of course, every mother in every house has a different hand. Since I miss that crunchy plain taste, I prepared a crunchy recipe that suits my taste as far as I can remember.

I used both granulated sugar and icing sugar just because I don't like the taste of powdered sugar, but I don't want it to be too clunky in my mouth. I even mixed it well with yogurt and oil and melted it as much as possible.

6 cups of flour is complete, but since the egg cup size may be different, add the flour cup by cup and knead. Since it is a very smooth and easily shaped dough, it will not bother you. In other words, the kneading and shaping part takes at most 10 minutes.

After kneading the dough, I separated half of it and added chocolate chips. If you want, you can also add 1 cup of chocolate chips to your cookies.

Ingredients for Mom Cookies Recipe

  • 1 glasses of yoghurt
  • 1 water glass measure of oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • half a cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 medium egg
  • 1 pc baking powder
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 6 water glass flour

For the top:

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1-2 tablespoons of sesame

How to Make Mommy Cookies Recipe?

  1. Mix the yoghurt, oil, 1 egg, powdered sugar and granulated sugar in the kneading bowl.
  2. Add 1 cup of flour to the bowl and continue mixing. Add vanilla and baking powder.
  3. Knead until all the flour is gone and you get a dough that won't stick to the hand or the bowl.
  4. Tear off walnut-sized pieces from the gathered dough.
  5. Arrange the dough pieces that you have rolled in your hands on the tray on which you have greased paper, 3-4 cm apart.
  6. Brush the egg yolks on the cookies with a brush. Sprinkle sesame.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven at 175 degrees for about 30 minutes, until the cookies are split and the top is browned.
  8. Take the cooled cookies from the tray and serve.
