American Salad

A salad that I like very much can also be used as an appetizer. Also called Russian salad. I think it's okay to say russian or american salad :)

If you add yogurt, it will be even lighter. I strongly recommend.

Russian salad

Ingredients:

  • 3 carrot
  • 3 potato
  • 250 gr. peas inside
  • 8-10 pickled gherkins
  • Half a glass of mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Half a glass of yogurt

Fabrication:

  1. Scrape the tops of the carrots with a knife.
  2. Chop into pea size.
  3. After peeling the skin of the potatoes, cut them into peas-sized pieces.
  4. Boil the peas, carrots and potatoes in hot water until soft.
  5. Drain the water and transfer it to another container and wait for it to cool.
  6. Add it to the vegetables. Serve by mixing small chopped gherkins with pickles, yogurt and mayonnaise.

    I think it's a nice recipe if we don't add yogurt, it's just too heavy with mayonnaise. I can't eat it. I can't eat it. It's lighter with yogurt and I recommend it to those who don't like it very well, Russian salad (AMERICAN SALAD) among the salads :)

    I think it is much better when you add canned corn to our Russian Salad. Also, when we add yoghurt, the vegetables inside it sear and it looks even better when pasta beads are added.

    I do not recommend yogurt. Salad is usually watery when you add yogurt.

      I don't agree with benezuhana, it's lighter and more delicious when you add yogurt. It's my favorite type of meringue... :)

    I'm looking at a lot of recipes, intricate ingredients are added to it. This is the most correct Russian salad. This is what I do. I find the others wrong.

    yes engine I agree this salad is called russian salad my dear nilay american salad is like russian salad but there is also salami in it

    Yes, this is a very delicious salad, but I would like to express my apologies that the real name of this salad is Russian Salad. If a caper flower is added to the salad, it tastes much better.
