Ingredients for Hot Pepper Jam Recipe

  • 200 g Mexican pepper
  • 800 g capia pepper
  • 2,5 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cloves of dried cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 water glass of water
  • Juice of half a lemon

How to Make Hot Pepper Jam Recipe?

  1. Remove the seeds of all Mexican peppers except 1-2 and chop them finely.
  2. Chop the capia peppers into small cubes.
  3. Put the tray in the pot, add granulated sugar, cinnamon and cloves and mix well.
  4. Leave for 1-2 hours at room temperature until the water is released.
  5. Put the jam on the stove, add 1 glass of water and cook for 45 minutes until the peppers are cooked and the jam is thick.
  6. Add lemon juice, boil for 2-3 more minutes and jar in hot hot jar.
