Toastman Birdal's Place (Mugla)

When we went to Muğla recently to take care of our busy work, it was already noon. Since we hadn't eaten anything until that hour, we were desperately looking for a place to have breakfast. You know, you have to search for something that is both delicious and affordable.

Since Akyaka - Muğla is a short distance of 20 minutes, we come to Muğla at least once a week for work. We had previously gone to many different places for breakfast, dinner, snacks, etc. This time, we wanted to have a different place, but while we were researching where it should be, we decided to have toast so that it would be quick and practical.

Muğla Menteşe center is famous for its children's parks and small, shabby but delicious sandwich kiosks located in each park. We tried most of these parks that we went to to take Nehir for a walk and play :)

While searching for a different place, we came across "Tostçu Birdal's place" and wanted to give it a try.

Since my father was a former meatball shop owner, I have always loved shabby places. I felt this shabby and comfortable feeling as soon as I stepped in front of this place.

The products of the places that focus on only one kind are more successful. Like Tostcu, Soupcu, Ciğerci. They specialize because they always make the same products. When you enter the store, you

tables with colorful chairs are mixed together. Contrary to monotony and mediocrity, it first makes you smile. It's as exciting as entering a nursery :) I also noticed the 2-way electrical sockets placed next to each table. It's a smart idea to put this there considering it's a need.

Of course, the place welcomes you with a wonderful smell of toast. You immediately understand that you will eat something delicious :) When we looked at the menu, we saw that there was a lot of variety. The service was really fast and a friend came to take the order right away. However, in order to make a choice from the menu, you had to dive into 40 different types of toast :) Yes, you read it right, there are exactly 40 different types of toast on the menu. I am adding the photo of the menu below so that you can make your choice before going and not waste time choosing there :)

We ordered toasts number 27, 17 and 1. Since we didn't know the size of their standard bread, we had no idea whether it would be filling or not. All 3 orders arrived at the same time in a short time. It is a really important detail for me that the orders arrive at the same time.

The toast sizes are also really big and filling breads in the form of a meal. The taste and menu variety are on point and nice. It is great that such places prioritize taste and preserve it for many years.
