Nut Cake
Today was a very pleasant day for me, they came to give an interview from Posta Newspaper for kitchen secrets. I posed a lot in my chef's hat and red apron, especially in my small photo studio that I set up at home. Nut CakeThe photos they took while taking pictures of 's are very funny.
Of course, it is impossible not to publish the cake when you have made the cake and have taken pictures of it. I am sharing this delicious recipe with you right away and before anyone else :)
I added coconut milk instead of milk or yogurt, which distinguishes this cake from other cakes. Smell, aroma and taste were perfect.
Love…
Ingredients for Nuts Cake Recipe
- 3 pieces of eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 water glass measure of oil
- 2,5 cups of glass of flour
- 1 cup shellless mixed nuts
- 8 chopped dried figs
- 8 chopped dried apricots
- 1 package baking powder
Fabrication:
- Put the sugar and egg into the mixing bowl, whisk until it turns white (until the sugar is completely dissolved) and the mixture becomes smooth.
- Add coconut milk and oil and continue whisking at low speed.
- Add the flour and baking powder and mix until you get a smooth and runny dough. Add the nuts, chopped apricots and dried figs and mix with the help of a spatula 2-,-3 times.
- Grease the cake mold by dipping your egg brush in oil and pour the dough into the cake mold.
- Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 30 minutes. You can tell whether it is cooked with the help of a toothpick or knife. (If the toothpick comes out wet, bake for a few more minutes).
- After the cake has cooled, remove it from the mold and slice it so that it does not fall apart.
I live in Bursa, where can I find the coconut milk you mentioned in the ingredients of the cake, is it available in big markets like MMM Migros??
By the way, the cake looks amazing.
Your recipes are very good Thank you
It really looks good on your hands.. I've been thinking about making dried fruits for a long time, but I've been putting it off because I don't know how to make it (because I'm afraid to keep its consistency). thanks in advance…
Hello! I want to try this recipe, but I wonder if a glass of oil is too much. I think half a glass of water is enough. ???
I recommend following the recipe. Yours sincerely
what should we say first, before I forget, let me thank you, I hope you will get it done as soon as possible.
It looks very nice, my dear, well done, it's a perfect winter cake, it's very energetic :))
I also wish you continued success.
Love from Izmir……..
Thank you, Yıldız, I love the photos of "BONCUK VILLAGE" by GÖRECE :) Big love to İzmir...
oops, I wrote a comment and the comment disappeared, I'll write it again. I swear, if I had an apron like that, I would never leave the kitchen.
Ayşegülcüm, if you don't have coconut milk, you can use regular milk, then I recommend adding some vanilla and lemon zest into it. I would love to send you my aprons, but I am using the only apron left. If I do it again I promise I will send it to you :)
looks great. well done
