Karmaca Recipe

Release Date: 12-05-2024
4 5 5 1

I was introduced to this delicious recipe for the first time last week at our neighbors' breakfast invitation. It was originally an immigrant dish. Some prepare it with a mixture of corn and wheat flour, while others prepare it with only corn flour. The essential ingredient is leek…

40 min

Since we soften the leeks by rubbing them with salt, there is no need for extra cooking, but be careful about the amount of salt you add later.

You can add flavor to it with greens, curd cheese and different spices at home. Remember, it will be much more delicious if you wait 1 night after cooking and let it soak well...

There is also a similar Muğla dish. I leave the link of the Çaykama recipe here for you.m.

Love…

This recipe is truly amazing! The leek corn flour cake, which I tried at my neighbors' breakfast party last week, perfectly reflects the immigrant taste. The way the leeks were rubbed with salt and the harmony of the ingredients was truly remarkable. It is possible to personalize it by experimenting with greens and different spices at home. I learned that the recipe becomes even more delicious after resting for a night, so I took note of this tip! I would also like to point out that I should also take a look at the Çaykama recipe from the Muğla region. I can't wait to try this recipe!
