Ingredients for Milk Halva Recipe
- 150 gr. butter
- 1 cup of heaped flour
- 1 egg yolk (you can omit it if you want)
- 1 liter milk
- 1.5 cup powdered sugar
Fabrication:
- For the syrup, put 1 glass of milk and 1 glass of granulated sugar in a medium saucepan. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat when sugar melts.
- Add the egg yolk and remaining milk to the mixture and whisk.
- Take flour and butter in a medium saucepan. Fry the flour with the butter until it smells.
- Add the syrup little by little and whisk it open. Add all the milk in the same way and cook, stirring, until it thickens.
- Divide the thickened halva into heat-resistant ovenware.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cook the halva until golden brown.
- Serve cold.
