Olive Oil Kidney Beans
I like olive oil dishes more than meat dishes. Kidney Beans with Olive Oil I like it as much as the ones made with vegetables. But the kidney beans I will eat must be slightly sweet, with lots of lemon and parsley.
I keep the amount of carrots I add more than the sugar I add, so the food becomes sweeter thanks to the natural sugar in the carrot.
How to cook kidney beans?
Here are a few kitchen secrets for you..
– The cooking time differs according to the type of kidney beans. In other words, the time may be longer, the water in the pot may decrease as the time extends, so it is a good idea to check and add hot water from time to time.
– Dried kidney beans should be soaked in water 1 night before.
– Since it is made with olive oil, sugar must be added to it.
– As with all other dishes, it should be cooked on low heat.
– If it is to be made in a pressure cooker, the pressure cooker instructions should be followed and care should be taken not to cook it so much that it disperses.
Ingredients for Red Kidney Beans Recipe with Olive Oil
- 1 kg kidney beans
- 3 medium tomatoes
- 2 meal spoon tomato paste
- 2 medium onion
- Half a glass of olive oil
- 3 medium carrot
- 1 liter of hot water
- Salt
- 2 sugar cubes
- 3-4 pieces of garlic
- Half a bunch of Parsley
Fabrication:
- Peel and wash the tomatoes, garlic, onions and carrots.
- Chop the tomatoes, garlic and onions for edibles and the carrots into rings.
- Put the olive oil in the pot, add the onions and carrots and fry them on medium heat until they turn pink.
- When the onions turn pink, add the garlic, tomato paste and tomatoes and melt by stirring for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the kidney beans and mix for a few minutes.
- Add hot water, cook on low heat until the kidney beans are soft, add salt and sugar 10 minutes before removing the kidney beans from the stove to sweeten it.
- Wash the parsley in plenty of water, chop finely. Take your food on a serving plate and add the parsley on it. Serve warm or cold.
