Ingredients for Kapuska Recipe
- Half of 1 medium cabbage
- 1 medium onion
- 1 heaping tablespoon of tomato paste
- 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of rice (optional)
- Salt
- 1 water glass of water
Fabrication:
- Wash the cabbage leaves well and chop them into large pieces. Chop the onion into bite-sized pieces.
- Pour olive oil into a pan and heat over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the onions and fry until they turn pink.
- Then add the tomato paste and stir fry until the smell of the tomato paste comes out.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the pot little by little and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Finally, add salt, optional rice and 1 glass of water and close the pot lid. Cook on low heat until the cabbage softens.
- You can serve your kapuska hot or warm.
