Homemade Pomegranate Liqueur
On a sunny Sunday, we finally got our liqueurs to look into. With the wise sisters, we made each liquor in the form of 5+3 ie 8 liters. Since the liquor we made 3 liters last week was a bit bitter compared to the 5 liters one, the two liqueurs were mixed together and separated again. We tasted our liquor yesterday, it was ripe much earlier than we expected.
Same with pomegranate liqueur. in orange liqueur The technique we applied gave great results. At first I thought the peels would be bitter since we put the pomegranates whole, but it added a sweet tartness and made us have an even more drinkable liqueur.

Ingredients for Homemade Pomegranate Liqueur Recipe
- 2 kg pomegranate
- 750 gr granulated sugar
- 500 ml of pure alcohol
- 10-15 cloves
- 5 cinnamon stick
- 1 liters of water
Fabrication:
- Wash the pomegranates by rubbing and put them in a strainer to drain.
- Cut all the pomegranates crosswise into 2 parts. You have to make a light scratch on the shell and divide it by hand.
- Place the chopped pomegranates in the jar. Add alcohol, sugar and water to it.
- Finally, put the cinnamon sticks and cloves, close the jar tightly and shake for 1-2 minutes.
- Put it in a place out of the sun, shake the jar once every 2 days. After about 1 days, when the sugar has completely melted, strain it with cheesecloth and serve.
