Gummy Custard Güllaç
I can say that this year, the month of Ramadan has passed by trying all kinds of gullaç. After apple, it was time for gum pudding. It is very easy to make and tastes incredibly good.
I also added a scoop of ice cream or rose water while serving for those who wanted it. A recipe not to be missed for those who prefer light desserts for iftar.
Love…
Ingredients for Gumball Custard Recipe
- 2 packages of gummy custard mix
- 1,5 liter milk
For Güllaç:
- 12-13 Güllaç leaves
- 1 liter milk
- 1,5 cup powdered sugar
Fabrication:
- Make the mastic pudding according to the recipe and set it aside to cool.
- Heat the sugar and milk by mixing them, remove from the heat when the sugar melts completely.
- Place the first Güllaç leaf in a large baking dish or baking tray. Take 1 scoop of milk and soak the leaf. After applying the same process to the 2nd leaf, take 1 scoop of mastic pudding and spread it on the gullaç leaf.
- Follow the same process until all the leaves are gone. (1-2 scoops of gum pudding may be left over)
- Place the prepared Güllaç in the refrigerator, drain the milk completely, and when it cools down, take it out of the refrigerator and serve it by decorating it.
I saw various recipes of Güllaç during the month of Ramadan, but the image was mostly the same. I don't like mastic custard, but I loved the look of rosemary :) it's a very nice view, far from the classic pomegranate image. Of course, pomegranate is very beautiful in terms of both appearance and taste, but this is also very different and nice. Well done.
Gulsen, I'm so glad you like it. It was what I wanted to be away from the classic Güllaç look, I'm happy if I could catch it :)
hmmm how nice it looks, I like rosewood too, but I've never made it at home because my wife doesn't like it at all. Otherwise I'm afraid I'll eat it all in one sitting. god bless your hands
Thank you, yaseminci, I actually liked it thanks to my wife after I got married :) It's a light and pleasant dessert.
