  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 glass of water + 1 pinch of dried basil
  • 1 small piece of cinnamon stick

For the custard:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3,5 water glass milk
  • 1 teaspoon of starch
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of Butter
  • 1 pack of vanilla

For decoration:

  • Nut cracks
  • pomegranate seeds

Fabrication:

  1. For the pudding, whisk the granulated sugar, starch with a little milk. Add remaining milk and cook until thickened.
  2. Add the butter and vanilla, mix and take it off the heat and leave it to cool, stirring from time to time.
  3. For the syrup, brew 1 pinch of basil in 1 glass of boiling water. Heat the milk, cinnamon and sugar by mixing them on medium heat, and add the basil you brewed.
  4. Divide the Güllaç leaves into 4 parts. Put 2-3 pieces on the tray and put 1 ladle of the milk syrup.
  5. After applying the same process to half of the Güllaç leaves, pour the pudding you prepared and spread it. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
  6. Do the same with the remaining dough. When Güllaç is milked, garnish it with hazelnuts and pomegranate seeds and serve.
