Güllaç Recipe (Strawberry)

Hello Dear Friends,
It's hard for me to think of a month of Ramadan without a recipe for Güllaç, the rose of Ramadan :) It's interesting that we only think of Ramadan. Wait all year, then prepare Güllaç every 1-3 days for 4 month :)
Since there is no pomegranate in the market anymore, you can use strawberries with peace of mind. Between you and me, I like strawberry gulla a little more than pomegranate :)
I don't prefer rose water much, but you can add some if you want.

Ingredients for Güllaç Recipe (Strawberry) Recipe
- 8 gullaç phyllo dough
- 6 water glass milk
- 1,5 cup powdered sugar
- walnut
To decorate:
- Strawberry
- filet pistachios
Fabrication:
- Combine milk and sugar in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Put the first leaf of Güllac on a wide tray with the shiny side up.
- Drizzle 1 ladle of warmed milk over the Güllaç leaf. Put the other leaf on the first leaf and wet it with milk with the help of a ladle. (Optionally, after the 4th leaf, sprinkle some walnut crumbs on this layer only.)
- Repeat the process until all the leaves are gone. Pour the remaining milk over the top leaf.
- Garnish Güllacı with slices of pistachio and strawberries. When it comes to room temperature and absorbs the milk, let it rest for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator and serve.
