before the holidays Tray Kebab I had another meat dish recipe that I said I would share with you in my recipe. Although it's a little late, it's finally live :) Baked Eggplant Kebab again, an oven dish that is as easy and delicious as a tray kebab.

Ingredients for Eggplant Kebab with Meatballs in the Oven Recipe

  • 400 gr mince
  • 3 medium eggplants
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium tomatoes
  • 3-4 green or green peppers
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • Red pepper

For the sauce:

  • 1 medium tomatoes
  • 1 dessert spoon tomato paste
  • 1 tea glass of hot water
  • 1 tablespoons of oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

Fabrication:

  1. Chop the eggplants, tomatoes and peppers. Put the eggplants in salted water.
  2. Grate the onion, crush the garlic and add it to the ground beef you bought in the mixing bowl. Add the spices and knead for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Drain and dry the eggplants. Cut off pieces from the minced meat and roll them in your hand and arrange 1 piece of eggplant and 1 meatball in the oven dish.
  4. Put the tomatoes and peppers on the meatballs and eggplant you have lined up.
  5. For the sauce, grate the tomato, add the tomato paste. Add hot water, oil, salt and pepper, mix and pour over the eggplants.
  6. Cover the baking dish with greaseproof paper, cover it with foil in an airtight manner and bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover the dish after 30 minutes, cook for 15-20 minutes until the eggplants and meatballs are browned and serve.
