Creamy Nettle Soup
My memories of stinging nettle go back to my childhood years. I wouldn't believe it if they told me that I would one day eat the nettle that accidentally crawled around the edge of the fountain and stabbed it all over my leg when I was 11-12 years old. Of course, I learned over time how much of a medicinal plant it is.
Stinging nettle starts to bite and burn when it touches your skin. For this reason, you should definitely wear gloves while sorting and washing. If you don't have gloves, you can also use the bags at home, as long as they don't touch your skin.
I had prepared the meal and roasted nettle before, but I had not had the opportunity to try the soup. If you want, you can not use cream in your soup, if you want it to be more dense, you can reduce the amount of milk you use.
Finally, you can buy stinging nettles from Kastamonu market established in Kasımpaşa in Istanbul.
