Baked Creamy Potatoes
Good morning everybody!
When I came back from Africa in the middle of last week, I left all my work empty, I didn't do any work because I was traveling on the weekend :) Isn't it my right to have a getaway once in a while? :) We enjoyed the Bosphorus at Bi'Big Fest on Saturday (When I found the details and photos on my memory card :) As such, I started to write recipes and get my work together early this morning.
If, like me, you're on your escapades and you're worried about how to cook for the evening, a delicious baked potato with cream will take you away. When you look at the recipe, you can say come on :) It's easy to prepare in 10 minutes, especially when you want to eat something tasty but not too busy with meat dishes. Ingredients for Baked Creamy Potatoes Recipe
- 2-3 medium potatoes
- 1 box of cream (200 ml)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 50-60 g cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
- Salt
Fabrication:
- Peel the potatoes and garlic and cut them into thin rings.
- Spread the potatoes and garlic in your baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg and salt and finally drizzle the cream on it. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until the potatoes are soft (approximately 25 minutes).
- Take the aluminum foil off the potatoes. Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese on the creamed potatoes.
- Bring the oven to 200 degrees, bake until your food is browned as in the photo and serve hot.
It has become our indispensable recipe, it goes well with fish, thank you!
It did not suit my taste at all, but I did it with love, I did not make nutmeg, I do not know where to find the right group.
Of course, everyone's taste can be different. You can find nutmeg in the spice aisles of big markets or herbalists.
yes, I have a similar baked potato, but I make it with milk, it is very delicious, Mrs. Selin, if you have trouble cooking, add milk.

What is muscat? can we not add it?
You can find nutmeg, a kind of spice, in herbalists. It's okay if you don't add it, but it has a nice aroma.

I tried it, it was delicious…but it took more than 1 hour for the fries to cook…according to your recipe, they soften after 25 minutes…I wonder if you had a little boil before?
No, I didn't boil it, I sliced it very thin. I already said it's about, it can change. If you say it took that long, you can boil it in milk after slicing it and not putting it in the oven.
hello.. I want to ask something about the recipe.. how many people is this recipe for? so I have 8 guests.. is a pack of cream and a few potatoes enough?
I recommend making at least twice the recipe. So all materials will be at least x2.
Thank you, Ms. Nihal.. OK, one last question :) I'll serve it with rice and chicken sauté, wouldn't it be twice as much? I mean, I don't think to serve it to everyone in a satisfying way..my menu is satisfying, there is also manisa kebab.. what do you think.. I would be glad if you could help me..
If there is rice and manisa kebab, 1 measure is enough. I think you should complete the menu with a salad with yoghurt, because the menu that will include pancakes etc will be heavy for the guests in this heat.

I tried it, it was great, I couldn't find nutmeg here, but it was still great :)
Muscat was absolutely amazing..it was as if it wasn't the potato we ate :) It added a strangely different taste and aroma. This meal would definitely not be complete without it. I used the cream only in pasta and chicken mushrooms. But it suits potatoes very well.
IF WE DO NOT Grated nutmeg, will the taste change?
It's okay, but it tastes better thanks to nutmeg.
The recipe looks very good, I want to make it right away, but if we can make it ourselves instead of ready-made cream, of course, how can we do it :)))

Hi Nilay, this is a very easy and delicious recipe. We love it, I make it often now, nutmeg grated really suits me, I also sprinkle zahter powder (Züleyha)

I put salt, pepper and butter pieces on the finely chopped potatoes, pour enough milk over the potatoes, cover the bowl with foil, and put it in the oven. Nutmeg - a kind of spice known as nutmeg. It is smaller than walnuts and is used grated. You can find it in all herbalists or big markets.
In our old workplace, the masters used to prepare a recipe similar to this recipe, it was very nice.
