One more holiday and one more holiday has disappeared from our lives. When we said we're going to rest and have fun like this for 9 days, fun, as always, took precedence over rest and we returned to our homes tired :)

corn on the cob

One of the best recipes left to me from the holiday is corn soup that we prepared from milk corn. You can also use canned corn for this delicious recipe from the skillful hands of Aunt Çiğdem, but I recommend using a little of the juice from the can to increase the aroma of the soup.

This is a healthy and nutritious soup recipe, as well as practical, I recommend you to try it at the first opportunity.

Love…

Ingredients for Corn Soup Recipe

  • 5 milk corns
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3-4 green peppers
  • 3 tablespoons of oil
  • 5-6 glasses of water
  • salt, pepper

Fabrication:

  1. After peeling the husks of the corns and cleaning the tassels, separate the corn kernels from the cobs with the help of a knife.
  2. Take the corn kernels in a pot, add enough water to cover them by 3-4 fingers and boil them until they are soft.
  3. While the corn is boiling, take the chopped onion in another pot and sauté it with vegetable oil until it turns pink. Add the green pepper and tomato that you removed the seeds from and sauté until the tomatoes get juiced.
  4. Add the boiled and drained corn kernels to the tomatoes and mix. Add 5-6 glasses of hot water and boil it for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Season the soup with salt and pepper. Serve hot.

I bought cracked white corn from the Black Sea region. I think this soup goes with it too. I will try.

I tried it last night, but I did not pass it through the rondo, it became grainy. It turned out very nice. I will take a photo of it and post it.
