Hello dear friends,

Today I have a practical chicken recipe for you. It is so practical that you can easily use both your leftover ingredients and your few vegetables and create new flavors according to your taste.

As the legumes that I boiled and set aside multiply, I mix a lot of things to melt the stock. Fortunately, the flavors that come out are good when you use a little logic. So much so that I immediately take note of the material list so that I don't forget how I prepared them. In fact, it's funny when someone cooks in the kitchen and records them in a small notebook at the same time :)

We made many names for this chicken at the table last night. My favorite name was Winter Chicken. Because the celery, potatoes, chickpeas and lentils in it created a perfect winter meal atmosphere.

Boiling some legumes whenever you find time or throwing leftovers in the freezer always allows you to add a new taste and color to the dishes you prepare.

Love…

Ingredients for Baked Lentil and Chickpea Chicken Recipe

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • 1 medium size celery
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup of boiled lentils
  • 1 cup of boiled chickpeas
  • 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
  • salt

Fabrication:

  1. Chop the onion piyaz. Peel and chop the garlic.
  2. Peel the potatoes and celery and cut into apple slices (6 pieces lengthwise).
  3. Take the chicken in the oven bag and add olive oil and salt on it. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix with your hands in the bag.
  4. Open the oven to 200 degrees, take the oven bag on the tray and make 2-3 holes on it with the help of a knife.
  5. Bake chicken for about 30-35 minutes. Check the chickens with a knife before removing them from the oven. If the knife throws easily, take it out of the oven and serve.
