Chicken Rolls
Due to my wife's insistence, I prepared the curry chicken, which I prepared before, for Chinese spring rolls this time. I baked it instead of frying it to make it lighter.
It was a much lighter and delicious pastry. While wrapping the pastry, I applied some yoghurt mortar. This made it softer.
I recommend using soy sauce in your presentation to add an extra flavor.

Ingredients for Chicken Pie Recipe
- 3 pieces of dough
- 1 teaspoon of breadcrumbs
- 1 pieces of eggs
- 1 glasses of yoghurt
- 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
For internal mortar:
- 400 gr. Chicken thigh skewer
- 1 carrot
- 1 leek
- 1 cabbage leaf
- 1 onion
- 1 cloves of garlic
- 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 4-5 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 handfuls of cashews
- Curry powder with the tip of 1 teaspoon
- 1 tea glass of hot water
Fabrication:
- Remove the diced chicken from the skewer and cut each piece into 2-3 pieces with a sharp knife.
- Chop the onion. Peel the carrot and grate it with the small side of the grater. Finely chop the leek, cabbage and 1 clove of garlic.
- Take olive oil and onion in the wok pan and sauté for 1 minute. Add the chicken and fry it with a wooden spoon until it turns white.
- Add cashews, shredded cabbage, leeks and carrots to chicken and sauté for 1 minute.
- When the vegetables start to die, add 1 tea glass of hot water, curry and soy sauce and mix.
- Put a lid on the pan and turn the stove down. Cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes.
- Take the lid and turn on the stove all the way. Cook, stirring, until the chicken is completely drained and leave to cool.
- Prepare a mortar by mixing yogurt, eggs and olive oil.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts, stack the resulting triangles on top of each other. Spread a little of the mortar you prepared on the dough and spread the chicken stuffing on the wide part.
- Without tightening it, wrap it like a spring roll and place it on a greased baking tray.
- When all the phyllo dough is finished, spread the yoghurt mortar on them and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
