Ingredients for the Minced Meat Çengelköy Börek Recipe with Baklava Pastry
- 5 pieces of baklava dough for 20 pieces of pastry
For internal mortar:
- 400 g ground beef
- 3 medium onion
- 2-3 tablespoons of oil
- 2 tablespoon of pine nuts
- 2 tablespoons of currants
- 1 sweet spice salt
- 1 tea spoon black pepper
For the sauce:
- 1 tea glass of melted butter
- half a teaspoon of oil
- 1,5 water glass milk
Fabrication:
- For the stuffing, add the oil and minced meat to the pan and fry over medium heat. Add the currants and pistachios and continue to fry.
- Add the chopped onion, salt and pepper and fry until the onion becomes transparent and the minced meat absorbs itself. Set the cooked stuffing aside to cool.
- Mix the sauce ingredients and place the first sheet of dough on the counter and brush with sauce. Place the second sheet of dough on top and spread the sauce. Apply the same sauce to the third sheet of dough.
- Lay out the last sheet of dough, take some of the filling and place it on the dough in strips.
- Roll the dough without squeezing it too tightly, give it a “U” shape and place it on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
- Spread the remaining sauce on top and bake in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until golden brown. Serve hot.
