Bougainvillea Stream

According to the survey I made today, very few people knew that there was such a tea. If you look at the hanger, I didn't know until I moved to Akyaka and started sharing the bougainvillea in our garden. One of my followers wrote that it is an herbal tea used to relieve cough and sore throat, especially in Mexico.

You can just brew it in boiling water, then add lemon juice and honey to it after brewing. It doesn't have its own scent or aroma anyway, so I added cinnamon and cloves to everything, of course 😄 If it grows, I intend to make lemonade with bougainvillea this week.

Don't forget to like my recipe and leave a lot of ❤️ and share it so that it reaches more people🙏

Materials:

  • 1 cup of bougainvillea leaves
  • 1 liters of water
  • 1 stick of cinnamon optional
  • 2-3 cloves of dried cloves

  2. Strain and add to boiling water with cinnamon and cloves if you are going to use it.
  3. Boil for 1 minute and remove from heat. Serve hot or cold as a cold tea.
