Baked Potato in the Microwave

Release Date: 01-12-2011

I had time to stop by the house between 2 meetings on Friday. I didn't want to eat anything outside. Sometimes I used to cook potatoes in the microwave as a side dish with meals, this time I decided to prepare my own baked potato with the little ingredients I found in the cupboard.
The cooking time may differ depending on the size of the potato you use, so you can check whether it is cooked by hand or by inserting a knife.

baked potato at home

For the garnish, you can use all the ingredients at home that suit your taste. It takes a maximum of 15 minutes to serve with all its preparations.

The microwave I use You can find it in this article. Love…

Ingredients for Microwave Baked Potato Recipe

  • 2 small potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
  • 3 slices of salami
  • 1 coffee cup of peas
  • 1 coffee cup of corn
  • salt

Fabrication:

  1. 1- Wash and dry the potatoes. Finely chop the salami.
  2. Cook the potatoes at 750 watts for 4-5 minutes. When you take the potatoes out of the oven, you can tell if they are cooked by inserting a knife or fork.
  3. Put the corn and potatoes in a small porcelain bowl and microwave them for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Cut the cooked potatoes into 2 parts and scoop out the inside with a spoon. (Don't make the edges too thin when buying the inside so that it doesn't tear.)
  5. Mix the potatoes you bought with butter and cheddar cheese in a bowl. Fill the contents back into the potatoes with the help of a spoon.
  6. Add the garnishes you have prepared on the potatoes, serve with ketchup and mayonnaise according to your request.

Hello, first of all, your site and the food are amazing. Afterwards, I didn't understand the cooking and heating thing of this microwave, so I just bought the microwave oven, Arcelik md 565 s model. I asked the authorized service, they said that if you wait for a short time, you will hear it, if you wait for a long time, you will hear it. They said that all microwaves are created this way. For example, my oven has 3 normal 3 grill levels. I don't write degrees vs. I haven't tried cooking yet, I'm afraid because I don't know the setting. I mean kumpir, if I can find at which level it will be cooked. Again, your site is great ;)
    thank you

Well, neither 10 minutes nor 20 minutes. Potatoes were not cooked. On top of that, for other vegetables (braccoli, antar, carrots) they were super when wrapped in a stretch net, but the potatoes were not cooked, as they lost their water, they became dry. My advice is to boil it in a normal mother-cooked pot and serve it in warm bowls. Of course, mash it with oil and cheese while it is pureed so that the baked potato infrastructure is ready. We even brought all the ingredients to the table in separate bowls (sausage, olives, pickles, corn, hot mashed potatoes, strained yogurt, grated carrots, grated black cabbage, cheddar, ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard), it was visually satisfying to cook.

Were the fries big? Some microwaves only have a heating feature instead of cooking. What was the brand you used?

Ms. Nilay, be careful! Yes, potatoes, onions explode in the microwave. Even if it is not dangerous, it makes the oven difficult to clean. Insert a knife in 3-4 parts into the potato and 2 parts in the onion (up to the middle).
Even though it doesn't give the taste of cooked on charcoal, it's not too bad.
