Baked Cheese Bread
Hello Friends,
On hot days, we lose our appetite, we don't want heavy and oily meals. In these situations, I wanted to share with you a practical recipe that I enjoy preparing.
The main ingredient of the recipe is bread and cheese, the type of cheese (white cheese, curd, cheddar cheese) and the ingredients you add (salami, sausage, tomato, pepper) are entirely up to you.
All ladies who want to make light suhoor meals in the upcoming Ramadan can try this recipe. I am sure you will be very pleased with the result.
I will share the Kastamonu travel notes that we went out with you very soon. Love…
Ingredients for Baked Cheese Bread Recipe
- stale bread slices (village bread tastes better)
- 300 gr curd or white cheese
- 2 pieces of eggs
- mint, thyme red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1-2 tablespoons of margarine
- Dill or parsley
Fabrication:
- Spread margarine on the sliced bread with an oil knife.
- Take the cheese in a large mixing bowl and mash with a fork. Add eggs, dill and spices to the cheese, mix well. (don't forget to add salt if the cheese is unsalted)
- Lay greaseproof paper on the baking tray and arrange the breads side by side. Spread the cheese mixture you prepared on it in a thick layer.
- Bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until golden brown. Serve hot with tea.
A very good recipe for breakfast, I recommend it to everyone :D
very nice super food
This is the most beautiful food page I've ever seen….amazing…:D
I'm thinking about what to eat right now, this recipe came to my mind, but no one wants me to make it so if they knew the taste of their mouths
I don't count it from eating, will your stomach be full with these breads at iftar <3
My grandmother used to make it, she called it Istanbul Pastry :)
I like very much
Yours
I prefer to use curd instead of white cheese so we can adjust the salt more easily. Is it okay if we prepare it for sahur in advance and cook it in sahur? Thanks.
Hello Sanem, as I said, your choice of cheese is entirely up to you. From time to time, I prepare it and throw it in the closet, and I cook it whenever I feel like it. I think this would be lighter than the meal you make for iftar.. Prepare it during the day, it will cook until the tea is brewed at night anyway….
I was thinking what to do when I was overwhelmed by the heat, I think it would be great with an ice cold cola. Good luck to you.
