There was a sweet conversation and a feverish cake work in my kitchen yesterday. We made Finding Fish NEMO cake together with Kübra Hanım, the beloved reporter of 20 Minutes Newspaper. When he asked me how to make a boutique cake, I said, of course, why not, then I'll come to you and let's do it together in your kitchen. She came to my house and kitchen at around 12 o'clock, it was very difficult for two undecided people to decide what kind of cake we wanted to make :) We decided to work on the lost fish nemo, after saying mermaid, gruel bugs, flowers, butterflies. We prepared a beautiful cake together.

    Dear Nilay
First of all, I would like to state that I am a strict follower :))) I have never had a recipe that I could not catch, and I also love your photos.
I had a little trouble with the sugar dough cake, I wanted to consult you.
I open the sugar paste with starch, even as seen in the photos above, white and white remains on the colored dough, how do we get rid of this image? I tried to moisten it lightly, but the sugar dough was sticky :( and should we definitely soak the sponge cake we use, how much should we wet it?
Thank you very much in advance
take it easy I wish you a nice day

Hello Dear Gamze, first of all, thank you for liking and trying :) The best thing is to clean the starch by brushing it carefully with a clean brush. You can use an egg brush for this, not silicone, but you can get a bristle brush from shops that sell cake supplies. If the sponge cake is fresh, there is no need to soak it, but if you cook it beforehand and use it after 2-3 days, it should be soaked. You can also use a dessert spoon or brush for this. Just a little moisture is enough. Yours sincerely

Hello, I live in Aydın and I am interested in making cakes from sugar paste. I am taking home gifts to my wife and friend at home. However, there are two issues that I cannot solve and I think you can help me. My first problem is about ganache, I apply the 400 gr 400 gr measure given on the internet. I can't do it properly and therefore I can't get a flat image when I coat the sugar paste.
Secondly, can't the inner cream of sugar paste cakes be made other than chocolate ganache? Do you have a nice white cream recipe? Thanks you very much. Good works

      White Chocolate Pastry Cream
      3 glass of water Milk
      1 Tea Cup of Sugar
      1 Tea Glass of Flour
      2 Tablespoons Corn Starch
      2 Egg Yolks
      150 gr. White (Couverture) Chocolate
We take all the ingredients except the chocolate in a saucepan and whisk them with a whisk until the balloon bubbles. At this temperature, we add our chocolates to melt them and leave them to cool. (Prevent creamer binding by mixing it from time to time)

Good luck to your hands. I will make your son's cake for the first time this year. Sugar doesn't like dough, so I'll make it with cream. There is something I want to ask you.

hello tuğba lady, I don't know where you live, but there are many places selling cake materials in istanbul eminönü, you can find the plates you want here. There are wafer plates, you can also print them on picture paper and use them as you wish. Many companies that sell cake materials can also take orders online.
